Yeah we’re So happy.

I was delighted to be part of Paul and Vicky’s big celebration. They didn’t meet in Liverpool, neither did they have their first kiss to a Joy division song but they beamed with happiness on their Wedding day making it was a joy to film. There was much to be filmed between the 10 girls getting ready in the Hotel room and the boys next door having a party. It couldn’t have been more crazy!
Enjoy this short clip.
Congratulations to Paul and Vicky.

Sweetrider

I’m delighted to feature this clip which I produced last October for budsandberries. The Quadrophenia themed shoot took place in the historical Georgian mansion, Bellinter House. All the Hdslr shots were filmed with the Canon 7D as my 5D was in for a service. The 8mm footage was shot on the canon 310 xl. We would’ve liked to have had more outdoor shots and taken advantage of the stunning backdrop but the weather wasn’t on our side. However, I still managed to get a ride on the Vespa, in between the showers…thanks John. I have to compliment all at budsandberries for styling the shoot. It was well designed to include some great suppliers and artists, resulting in a great atmosphere on the set.

Your Story begins right now

This is the first time on my blog that I have featured a mix of Super 8mm Format with Hdslr. I ‘m very pleased with the result. In the coming months I will share a great photoshoot in similar style……. but first of all this fab Wedding celebration of Robert and Madeleine. They were married in Sandyford by celebrant, Fr Joe Kennedy whom I met him last year, he hasn’t changed…a great character. The couple chose the Village at Lyons for their venue..a stunning setting and backdrop for photos. In the afternoon, guests were treated to an exquisite tea party and fun photoboot organised by pearl&godiva and some delicious macaroons by the cakestand.
Congratulations to Robert and Madeleine.

The Only One

Congratulations to Lili & Ian whose Wedding ceremony and reception took place at the exclusive Balyna House, MoyValley. Lili looked very elegant, wearing Irish designed dress by Bonzie. The celebration was enjoyed by the many guests who travelled from Israel, Germany, Switzerland and USA. Photographer, Magda Lukas got some great photos of the couple in the later part of the evening as the sun was setting. The party got under way straight after dinner and was in full swing when I was leaving…I think this clip captures some of the energy and fun that made this Wedding so special. Thanks to Lili & Ian for sharing these moments.

Steve McQueen and The Kagemushas

Refreshingly different…Japenese/Irish Wedding of Naoko and Donal. Naoko got ready with close family members who flew all the way from Japan for this special day. I arrived at Naoko’s house early in the morning, was greeted by Mr. Hasuda who commented on my ‘Steve McQueen looks’. Naoko looked stunning and emotions were running high as she walked down the aisle with her dad. The reception took place at The Waterside Hotel in Donabate and like many Irish weddings this Summer, the sun didn’t shine but we still made a trip down to the beach for some great shots. Guests were entertained by Irish Trad Band craddog. I really enjoyed being part of this wedding, a big hello to the lads in Japan.
