Behind the scenes of a recent photoshoot with some unusual quirky characters.
First wedding of the year at the Brooklodge Hotel. Claire & Jeff celebrated their wedding in the little chapel on the grounds of Macreddin village surrounded by Friends and Family. The weather was on their side, take a look at Christina Brosnan’s website to view some stunning photos. Here is the highlights clip caught on Super 8mm. Mix of tri-x reverseal film which gives a deep contrast black & white picture and some vision 2 color negative film which gives a a fine grain for indoor shots. Love it !.
11.11.11 is a date I will remember for a long time to come…… celebrations all day long starting early morning with Aoife being serenaded by Elvis. The party continued at Waterford Castle into the early hours of the morning. Congratulations to Aoife & Shane.
Music by the Vaccines.
Last November the Scottish invaded Waterford Castle. Fiona and Ian had a great day and I was delighted to be there to freeze it in 8mm.
When I met Craig and Caitriona for the first time, they mentioned that they would like to have a time-lapse done at their wedding. I managed to take 2000 photos that evening including images of Fast Food, First Dance and Chinese Lanterns. Their Wedding took place at Lough Rynn Castle, a great backdrop for the chinese lanterns.

Highlights clip in 8mm for Clare & Liam. Wedding in Farnham Estate and Ceremony in St. Peter & Paul’s Church Athlone. Shot on a Canon 310xl and Ektachrome 100d.
Highlights clip for Sinead and Kieran. Another Wedding where I felt part of the party. Thank you and congratulations.
Here is the behind the Scenes of the Sweetrider clip.
I was delighted to be part of Paul and Vicky’s big celebration. They didn’t meet in Liverpool, neither did they have their first kiss to a Joy division song but they beamed with happiness on their Wedding day making it was a joy to film. There was much to be filmed between the 10 girls getting ready in the Hotel room and the boys next door having a party. It couldn’t have been more crazy!
Enjoy this short clip.
Congratulations to Paul and Vicky.
First time-lapse of the year filmed in Waterford Castle. 1125 photos, cutting of the cake and first dance. Thanks to Fiona and Ian. Better viewed in HD format. Happy New Year to you all.
